| Favorite Memory about North Shore: The culture at North Shore was a winning one, everbody really enjoyed the successful era as an outcome of hard work on the track & Sunday pub runs & Monday night football review around Frostys place was fun with plenty to discuss. Without doubt my favorite memories has to be the flags won and the celebration afterwards, Players Players night we introduced in the 1980's was also a favorite memory, I am not sure how I achieved so many nominations though, the boys did have some fun with it. |

| Tell us a bit about yourself: I started my football with North Shore in the Little League in 1973 with the saints and then the Magpies in U14 where I finished runner up in the Best & Fairest. I then played in the U15 under Boss and Dizzy in 1976, I then went to the U17 and played in the losing Grand Final against North Geelong in 1978 under bomber. This was the biggest learning year for me and got me hooked on footy. I was vice captain of the U17's the following year with Docca Doherty as Captain, we finished 5th just outside the finals. 1980 was my first year in the seniors and played the whole year in the reserves under Max Giddings, we lost the flag that year. The next few years I played in two reserve flags and in finals through to the move to Queensland. I spent fours years on the Gold Coast playing with Broadbeach winning a flag in 1987 and in the combined side against PNG and others which was great. I returned in 1990 and played with John Albon to win the flag, I finished my career with North Shore in the 1992 Reserves dream team Premiership win and went on to Coach and play with Winchelsea before retiring in 1995 with 12 grand final appearances and five fantastic premierships. |
